PHOTOGRAPHER ADRIANNA KUNIKOWSKA «Take the camera in your hand and create»

Tell us where it all started when you began to understand that you wanted to look at the world through the lens of your camera?

I got my first camera at the age of 14. At the beginning, I mainly photographed nature and animals, but over time I fell in love with photographing people. For 7 years I have been active in the world of photography, mainly specializing in fashion photography. I cannot imagine my life without art, photography is like oxygen for me, it is my space of freedom in which I can be fully myself.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by art in general - painting, architecture, dance, music, acting etc. The world around me, the people I meet on my way, or my own emotions and experiences.

What is the best project you have worked on and how did you get involved with it?

"Queen of Pink Rubbish" - A project that addresses the problem of global overproduction of clothing and plastic. Together with the team, we have combined the current trends in the world of photography and fashion to create photos that will convey a message.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome and how did you do it?

Project "Queen of Pink Rubbish" - a project summarizing my work in 2020. The biggest project I have done in my career, appreciated by Feroce Magazine and featured on the cover of June Vol 2.

What does the term creative mean to you?

First of all, freedom, no prejudices, and at the same time a huge amount of positive and negative emotions.

What advice would you give to people wanting to be a photographer?

Take the camera in your hand and create. Don't let others tell you what to do and how to do it, in a word don't let yourself be limited. Take a risk, break generally accepted rules, but remember to always respect other creators and their work.
